The space is characterized by organic, curved forms that replace sharp corners and rigid partitions. This sense of fluidity reflects the dynamic nature of travel and symbolizes smooth transitions between different destinations. The main reception desk features a curved form that highlights the warmth and texture of wood, creating a welcoming focal point while adding movement and character to the space. The ceiling design follows the same flowing geometry, reinforcing the overall spatial continuity.
Material and Color Palette: Warmth, Texture, and Contrast
The material selection prioritizes a sense of naturality and comfort. The warmth of wood, the textured character of terrazzo flooring, and the softness of plaster-finished walls create an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The terrazzo flooring introduces movement and visual interest through its varied aggregate sizes and colors, while the plaster walls soften natural and artificial light, adding depth and texture to the interior.
The color palette is inspired by nature and consists of warm, earthy tones. Natural wood finishes, salmon and green upholstered elements, and soft beige wall surfaces create a calm and relaxing environment. Together, these colors reflect both the restorative and exploratory aspects of travel.
Spatial Organization: Transparency and Privacy
Although designed with an open-plan layout, the space is organized through transparent glass partitions and wooden elements that define different functional zones. This approach preserves the openness of the interior while providing the necessary levels of privacy and focus.
Circular glass partitions create meeting and private consultation areas while maintaining visual transparency and spatial continuity. Wood-clad doors and partition elements define private office spaces and introduce a tactile contrast that enriches the overall design language.
Lighting Design: Warmth and Emphasis
The lighting strategy has been carefully developed to enhance the atmosphere of the space and highlight key functional areas. Concealed LED lighting integrated into the ceiling emphasizes the flowing architectural forms while providing soft ambient illumination.
Accent lighting above the reception desk and display units creates visual focal points, while pendant fixtures within the meeting areas contribute to a warm and intimate environment.
